यह भयानक असमानता और जबर्दस्ती लादा गया भेदभाव दुनिया को एक बहुत बड़ी उथल-पुथल की ओर लिये जा रहा है। यह स्थिति अधिक दिनों तक कायम नहीं रह सकती। स्पष्ट है कि आज का धनिक समाज एक भयानक ज्वालामुखी के मुख पर बैठकर रंगरेलियां मना रहा है और शोषकों के मासूम बच्चे तथा करोड़ों शोषित लोग एक भयानक खड्ड की कगार पर चल रहे हैं।”

भगत सिंह के खिलाफ गवाही देने वाले लोग आरएसएस से जुड़े थे ..
जनता को नहीं पता है कि भगत सिंह के खिलाफ विरुद्ध गवाही देने वाले दो व्यक्ति कौन थे ।

जब दिल्ली में भगत सिंह पर अंग्रेजों की अदालत में असेंबली में बम फेंकने का मुकद्दमा चला तो...
भगत सिंह और उनके साथी बटुकेश्वर दत्त के खिलाफ शोभा सिंह ने गवाही दी और दूसरा गवाह था शादी लाल !
दोनों नाथूराम गोडसे की तरह आरएसएस से जुड़े थे और दोनों को वतन से की गई इस गद्दारी का 1977 की जनता पार्टी सरकार बनाने पर इनाम भी मिला।
दोनों को न सिर्फ सर की उपाधि दी गई बल्कि और भी कई दूसरे फायदे मिले।
शोभा सिंह को दिल्ली में बेशुमार दौलत और करोड़ों के सरकारी निर्माण कार्यों के ठेके मिले आज कनौट प्लेस में सर शोभा सिंह स्कूल में कतार लगती है बच्चो को प्रवेश नहीं मिलता है जबकि शादी लाल को बागपत के नजदीक अपार संपत्ति मिली।
आज भी श्यामली में शादी लाल के वंशजों के पास चीनी मिल और शराब कारखाना है।

सर शादीलाल और सर शोभा सिंह, भारतीय जनता कि नजरों मे सदा घृणा के पात्र थे और अब तक हैं लेकिन शादी लाल को गांव वालों का ऐसा तिरस्कार झेलना पड़ा कि उसके मरने पर किसी भी दुकानदार ने अपनी दुकान से कफन का कपड़ा तक नहीं दिया।
शादी लाल के लड़के उसका कफ़न दिल्ली से खरीद कर लाए तब जाकर उसका अंतिम संस्कार हो पाया था।
शोभा सिंह खुशनसीब रहा। उसे और उसके पिता सुजान सिंह (जिसके नाम पर पंजाब में कोट सुजान सिंह गांव और दिल्ली में सुजान सिंह पार्क है जिसका उदघाट्न बीजेपी के ही मुख्यमंत्री साहब सिंह वर्मा ने किया था इसके अलावा दिल्ली समेत देश के कई हिस्सों में हजारों एकड़ जमीन मिली और खूब पैसा भी।
शोभा सिंह के बेटे खुशवंत सिंह ने शौकिया तौर पर आरएसएस के मुखपत्र पांजन्य में पत्रकारिता शुरु कर दी और बड़ी-बड़ी हस्तियों से संबंध बनाना शुरु कर दिया।
सर शोभा सिंह के नाम से एक चैरिटबल ट्रस्ट भी बन गया जो अस्पतालों और दूसरी जगहों पर धर्मशालाएं आदि बनवाता तथा मैनेज करता है।

आज दिल्ली के कनॉट प्लेस के पास बाराखंबा रोड पर जिस स्कूल को मॉडर्न स्कूल कहते हैं वह शोभा सिंह की जमीन पर ही है और उसे सर शोभा सिंह स्कूल के नाम से जाना जाता था।
खुशवंत सिंह ने अपने संपर्कों का इस्तेमाल कर अपने पिता को एक देशभक्त
दूरद्रष्टा और निर्माता साबित करने की भरसक कोशिश की।
खुशवंत सिंह ने खुद को इतिहासकार भी साबित करने की भी कोशिश की और कई घटनाओं की अपने ढंग से व्याख्या भी की।
खुशवंत सिंह ने भी माना है कि उसका पिता शोभा सिंह 8 अप्रैल 1929 को उस वक्त सेंट्रल असेंबली मे मौजूद था जहां भगत सिंह और उनके साथियों ने धुएं वाला बम फेंका था।
बकौल खुशवंत सिह, बाद में शोभा सिंह ने यह गवाही दी, शोभा सिंह 1978 तक जिंदा रहा और दिल्ली की हर छोटे बड़े आयोजन में वह बाकायदा आमंत्रित अतिथि की हैसियत से जाता था।
हालांकि उसे कई जगह अपमानित भी होना पड़ा लेकिन उसने या उसके परिवार ने कभी इसकी फिक्र नहीं की।
खुशवंत सिंह का ट्रस्ट हर साल सर शोभा सिंह मेमोरियल लेक्चर भी आयोजित करवाता है जिसमे आरएसएस और बीजेपी के बड़े-बड़े नेता और लेखक अपने
विचार रखने आते हैं,
और...
बिना शोभा सिंह की असलियत जाने (य़ा फिर जानबूझ कर अनजान बने) उसकी तस्वीर पर फूल माला चढ़ा आते हैं आज़ादी के दीवानों क विरुद्ध और भी गवाह थे ।

भगतसिंह और बटुकेश्वर दत्त को सजा सुनाने वाले जज मेडिल्टन ने अपने फैसले में लिखा-
‘‘ये लोग ‘इंक़लाब जिन्दाबाद’ और ‘मज़दूर क्रान्ति जिन्दाबाद’ के नारे लगाते हुए अदालत में दाखिल होते थे, जिससे साफ़ पता चलता है कि वे किस किस्म की विचारधारा में यकीन करते हैं।
इन विचारों के फैलाव को रोकने के लिए मैं उन्हें आजीवन कारावास की सज़ा दे रहा हूँ।’’
